We cover the ancient County of Surrey, both Rural Surrey and the Metropolitan Surrey area, i.e. those parts of the old county of Surrey which are now in Greater London. Our meetings are held in the western part of the County. See the Parish Map, which has a link to pictures of some of the Surrey Churches. | ||
We transcribe records for Surrey and publish them for sale.

We also have a number of Research Aids which can be downloaded FREE. Some Parish Registers indexes to Baptisms, Marriage and Burials are now available through Genfair to download to your own computer, PDF files. More parishes being added all the time. |

On the Saturday of the first weekend in November, usually (this year it will be on Saturday 9th November Saturday 16th November 2024)
we hold a Family History Fair where our Reference Library, Memorial Inscriptions and Members' Interests are available to consult by everyone.
The Society's Bookstall is always in attendance.

We have several meetings centres in West Surrey, where we have talks by experts and Members' knowledge sharing meetings.
While most are in the evenings, we also have some afternoon meetings, especially during the winter months.
